For most people, cutting shapes out of bits of paper is something we tend to stop doing in primary school – for Los Angeles native Jeff Nishinaka however it’s a way of life, at least that’s how it would seem…. the intricacy and detail on display in his mesmerising paper sculptures certainly suggest such dedication……

Having worked for clients such as the New York Times and BBC, and created inspiring window displays for Hermes and Liberty, it’s unsurprising that Selfridges snapped up Brighton-based designer Kyle Bean‘s talents, once he had pitched this wonderful window display concept to them. Drawing upon the theory that ‘Matter cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed’ – Bean’s window displays showcase objects in their original form, side by side with inspirational transformations, weighing scales demonstrating that even after transformation, the matter remains equal……
