Alice for the iPad
another inspired glimpse into the future of publishing....

Over on We Heart, we recently featured an inspired demo of an interactive magazine spread, designed for the iPad… making no secret of our excitement for the future of publishing, we banged on about it for days afterwards. Much to our delight then, that software studio, Atomic Antelope, have come up with an inspired new iPad application that furthers our belief that the ‘tablet’ – whether it’s an iPad, or a cheap copy – will truly revolutionise the way we consume content. Alice for the iPad is as perfect as an example, that currently exists, of just how much impact digital interaction can have on a reading experience….

Have to say, I wasn’t entirely convinced by the iPad until I saw this. It just looks like a whole new experience. My 5 year old daughter is learning to read at the moment, and – not that she needs any encouragement as she loves reading – but she would have SO much fun with this 🙂
