Having worked for clients such as the New York Times and BBC, and created inspiring window displays for Hermes and Liberty, it’s unsurprising that Selfridges snapped up Brighton-based designer Kyle Bean‘s talents, once he had pitched this wonderful window display concept to them. Drawing upon the theory that ‘Matter cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed’ – Bean’s window displays showcase objects in their original form, side by side with inspirational transformations, weighing scales demonstrating that even after transformation, the matter remains equal……

[…] Kyle Bean’s work chez Selfridges was based upon the theory of transformation (“Matter cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed”, the law of conservation of mass). Now we may or may not agree, the aesthetic truth in this case beats our personal beliefs.
